Giving back to the community is paramount in Capleton’s philosophy of life. In explaining Capleton’s adherence to this philanthropic stance, his Manager, Claudette Kemp said, it all began for Capleton when he was a young “sufferer” – walking and singing and selling exercise books in his parish of St Mary. “Capleton made a pledge at that time, that he would take care of his parish one day – when he got rich.”
